Overview / Details

Under the directive of the Minneapolis Public Housing Authority, Sherman Associates assisted in creating a first-of-its-kind in The Heritage Park Senior Services Center. Located at 1015 4th Ave N. in Minneapolis, the 69,597 SF project is home to Courage Center, Augustana Care, YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities, Neighborhood HealthSource, and the Minneapolis Highrise Representative Council. The center serves as a comprehensive health and wellness facility for residents living in the 60 on-site apartment homes, and older adults in the community.

The unique initiative ensures that the 50-andabove residents the center caters to receive the rehabilitation, clinical and recreational services they need while promoting socialization through daily activities held on-site. Close access to bus routes also allows for residents to easily and independently travel.

The Heritage Park Senior Services Center serves as a testament to Sherman Associates’ dedication to all facets of the community. Sherman’s dedication to diverse development guarantees that the work we do reaches all corners of life, and continues to strengthen and enhance the local communities in which we develop.
