Taryn Edens | Training Manager | Sherman Associates
Taryn Edens, Training Manager, has been with Sherman Associates since June of 2013. Edens’ multi-faceted position includes coordinating training schedules for new hires, providing software training for all team members, managing the Sherman training program, and assisting in the implementation of new software modules. All new hires are handled and cared for by Taryn, meaning she plays a critical role in developing and cultivating the Sherman culture. She focuses on driving others to excellence through a growth-oriented vision for success, training roughly 81 team members thus far. Edens’ passion for the industry began with an original pursuit of an Interior Design degree, later translating into a passion for providing quality housing to all. Her background includes an internship with the City of Minneapolis as a Housing Inspector and Community Liaison with the University of Minnesota, giving her well-rounded knowledge of the development process, property management policies and laws, and housing policies. Her enthusiasm, drive, dedication, and friendly character are prevalent in her desire to constantly help others grow professionally, making her a key member in the success of Sherman’s residential management portfolio. Edens earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Housing Studies from the University of Minnesota. Learn more about Taryn Edens
