Meet Leah Collins | Senior Manager of Learning & Development
Leah Collins, Senior Manager of Learning and Development, works to provide training resources and ongoing development to all departments within Sherman Associates. Collins has led a recent restructuring of the Training department, now named Learning and Development, expanding offerings to include comprehensive professional development opportunities for all Sherman employees. Collins looks forward to collaborating with departments to customize learning opportunities for their team members. Learning and Development recently completed a collaboration with the Asset Management department to design an interactive online Lead2Lease course that will be available soon for any team member to complete a refresher. Collins holds a M.Ed. degree in Learning Design Technology with an emphasis on adult learning strategies, and has over ten years of experience developing, designing, and writing training, marketing, and communication materials. She received a bachelor’s degree from the College of St. Catherine in Communication Studies and spent 8 years working in the construction industry. During this time, Collins was responsible for corporate training implementation, construction project management, and corporate communications. Leah enjoys spending time outdoors exploring with her 6-year-old twin daughters, trying new local restaurants, and spending as much in the kitchen as she can.
