When it came to selecting a development to name “Best of the Decade,” one project just wasn’t enough. The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Best in Real Estate judges reviewed “Best Overall” honorees from the past 10 years in their quest for this year’s “Best of the Decade” award. They found that two projects were so intertwined, exemplifying an investment in and commitment to the community, that they both deserved the moniker of decade’s best project — 2004’s Wells Fargo Home Mortgage West Building and 2005’s Midtown Exchange.
