Will Anderson Promoted to Director of Development at Sherman Associates

{MINNEAPOLIS, MINN, July 13, 2021}—Sherman Associates recently announced the promotion of Will Anderson to the Director of Development. Anderson will lead the development team in driving real estate development projects in existing and new markets. He will oversee Sherman’s team of developers and will lead relationships with cities and finance agencies.

Anderson’s demonstrated perseverance, strong relationships with cities, and ability to navigate the needs of diverse stakeholders have been invaluable to achieving high quality, impactful developments and have served him well in his previous role as Senior Developer.

Anderson has led numerous impactful projects since joining Sherman Associates in 2012 and is well-primed to lead the development team. His most noteworthy projects include several apartment developments: Rayette Lofts in downtown St. Paul, where he navigated a complex historic renovation; the West Side Flats developments in St. Paul (West Side Flats, The Scenic, and Verdant); Lyra and Nova in Coon Rapids, and the Gray’s Landing development in Des Moines. His professional communication and development expertise are leading Sherman in the Beltline Station development in St. Louis Park.

Prior to joining Sherman Associates, Anderson worked for both the City of Minneapolis and the City of St. Paul. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies with a minor in Management from the University of Minnesota.
