Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal: Largest Real Estate Developers in the Twin Cities

Sherman Associates ranks #11 on the list of Largest Real Estate Developers in the Twin Cities in 2025 by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.

The rankings are based on SF developed in the metro between 2022-2024. Sherman developed 1.3 million SF in the metro between 2022-2024, and has an extensive development portfolio of multifamily, mixed-use, retail, hotel, office, government and senior housing.

Sherman is a developer, owner, and manager with a current multifamily portfolio of over 7,300 units, with 5,300 of those units in the Twin Cities. The company currently has over 1,400 units in lease-up in the Twin Cities and Des Moines.

Outside of the Twin Cities, Sherman also developed multifamily and hospitality product in Des Moines and St. Petersburg, FL between 2022-2024.
