Iowa Governor praises The Roosevelt

"DES MOINES - Governor Chet Culver today announced a milestone in the state's flood-recovery process with the grand re-opening of The Roosevelt, a historic multi-family housing property in Cedar Rapids that was closed due to the floods of 2008.  Other Cedar Rapids affordable housing projects were also highlighted today on a tour of projects by the Iowa Finance Agency (IFA) Board of Directors.  'The re-opening of The Roosevelt today proves that our state continues to move forward after being struck by natural disasters,' Culver said.
