George Sherman to address national affordable housing conference

George Sherman, along with Michael Christenson (pictured with George above) and several others, were asked to lead a special session at Novogradac & Company's 18th Annual Affordable Housing Tax Credit Conference in San Francisco, CA.  While the project is only nine months into the two-year renovation, George will be addressing the process which led up to this, one of the largest Tax Credit rehabilitations in the history of the program.  He will also be addressing how the financing package was created and the many partners involved.  He is joined by Micheal Christenson of the City of Minneapolis, Anne Simpson of Aegon USA, the project's Tax Credit Syndicator, Christopher Tawa of the US Department of Housing and Urban Development and Charlene Roise of Hess Roise, the party mainly responsible for the special Historic Designation of Riverside Plaza.  This session comes on the coattails of a major article about the project published in the Novogradac Tax Credit Journal earlier in the year.
