New Paris Closed! 40-unit MF project in Benson, Minnesota

This week Sherman Associates closed on financing to renovate a 40-unit apartment community in Benson, Minnesota.  New Paris Apartments consists of three separate two-story buildings located around a neighborhood public park.  The five-month, phased renovation includes the temporary relocation of the current residents to one of the three buildings for month-long intervals while their units are being renovated & upgraded.  The interior work will focus on replacing unit finishes, flooring, cabinetry and appliances; while the exterior will enjoy a facelift with new siding, windows, doors and a new roof.   A special thanks to the closing team and our financing partners – Minnesota Housing Finance Agency; Greater Minnesota Housing Fund; USDA Rural Development; and WNC & Associates, Inc.
