Troy Whelan | Regional Director of Sales & Marketing – Hospitality Division | Sherman Associates
Troy E. Whelan oversees sales and marketing for the Hospitality Division of Sherman Associates. He works closely with the property sales and marketing teams, ensuring the integration of brand programs into the sales and marketing process. He also works with various hotel revenue management teams to ensure maximum revenue, marketability and respective brand loyalty. As a leader in the Hospitality Division, Whelan influences positive client relationships and guest brand loyalty, as well as providing mentorship to his team by encouraging their career growth and leadership advancement. Whelan has lead cross-sales programs leading to award-winning revenue results. Corporate-wide, he is a resource to Sherman's team in implementing a customer-focused approach to serving our clients. Whelan has over 15 years of experience in a sales and marketing leadership role, working with Marriott, Hilton and Starwood Hotel brands. Whelan attended the University of Minnesota and the University of St. Thomas. He holds a Minnesota Residential Real Estate License. Whelan is affiliated with Knights of Columbus and volunteers as a Mentor at Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
