Meredyth Skemp

Developer

Meredyth Skemp is a Developer for Sherman Associates, where she works on all aspects of the real estate development process including acquisition, entitlements, financing, and design and construction. She is responsible for the development of affordable and market-rate multifamily projects in Minnesota, Iowa, and Colorado.

Skemp brings over 20 years of experience in affordable housing development to Sherman and most recently was a Senior Project Manager for non-profit affordable housing organization, CommonBond Communities where she closed the first affordable housing project at the 122-acre Highland Bridge development in St. Paul, Minnesota. Prior to that, for most of her career she worked as a Project Manager for two leading affordable housing developers in the Bay Area of California, Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco and BRIDGE Housing Corporation.

Skemp is an active member of Urban Land Institute Minnesota (ULI) as the Vice Chair of the NEXT Steering Committee and a member of the Sponsorship Committee.

Skemp holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and is a graduate of both the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs and the California College of the Arts Leading by Design Fellows Program.
