Dan Collison is Vice President of Strategic Growth and Public Affairs for Sherman Associates. He leads business development, strategic partnerships, public affairs, and market expansion efforts across the company’s portfolio and target markets.

A respected business and civic leader, Collison has spent more than 30 years building partnerships across the public, private, nonprofit, and community sectors to advance housing, economic development, and community initiatives. His collaborative leadership style has helped forge strategic relationships that create opportunities for growth and long-term impact.

His contributions have been recognized through numerous honors, including Metro Magazine’s Top 100 list in 2010, Minnesota Business Magazine’s (Real) Power 50 Awards in 2015, City Pages’ Unsung Heroes recognition in 2020, and the AIA Minnesota Collaborative Achievement Award in 2022.
