Valerie Doleman is Vice President and Director of Marketing & Communications at Sherman Associates. She has been with the company for over a year and supports Sherman’s continued growth and success by directing corporate communications, public relations, and property marketing initiatives.

Doleman’s work allows the public, lenders, and cities to become fully aware of the benefits of Sherman’s community–enhancing real estate developments. Doleman’s talent for designing strategic communication plans and her ability to creatively execute them make her an invaluable member of the Sherman Associates team.

Doleman has 18 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, beginning with a position at a commercial brokerage/management/development firm. Since then, she has worked for a variety of commercial real estate firms planning and designing marketing programs that enhance a disciplined sales process, while applying a creative twist to ensure the effectiveness in the delivery of key communication points. Doleman has been published nationally and has served as a speaker and moderator on industry panels on both marketing and women in commercial real estate. She received the Award of Excellence from the Minneapolis Downtown Council in 2013, and has received two CREWies from MNCREW for Networking and Entrepreneurial Spirit. She is also an Executive Committee Member of the Downtown Network, Marketing Committee for the Downtown Council, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism/Mass Communication-Advertising from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
